Anthony Davis turns 25 today. His resume at this age is remarkable through 393 career games. So far the big man is averaging 23.2 points, 10.3 rebounds, and 2.4 blocks per game while hanging on to a ridiculous 27.0 PER in 13,646 minutes. There are only two players in NBA history with a higher career PER; Michael Jordan (27.91) and LeBron James (27.64). Not bad company. Davis ranks 22nd in league history in PPG (just behind Shaquille O’Neal) and 15th in blocks per game.

Remember when Davis was compared to Marcus Camby coming out of college? We do.

We’ll have coverage coming out today and in the coming week celebrating AD’s birthday but for starters I wanted to take a look at the accomplishments section of AD’s basketball resume. Through 25 years he’s already well on his way to the Hall of Fame. Please note that the basketball Hall of Fame isn’t the “NBA Hall of Fame” like in football so accomplishments in college and internationally also count.
